Dressing & Change
At Bliss Home Health Care, dressing changes are performed with precision and care to promote healing and prevent infection. Our licensed nurses begin by thoroughly washing their hands and putting on sterile gloves before removing the old dressing. The wound is then carefully assessed for signs of healing or infection.
Depending on the wound's condition, it is gently cleaned with a sterile solution, and any debris is removed. If needed, a prescribed ointment or topical treatment is applied. Finally, the wound is covered with a clean, appropriate dressing to keep it protected and supported throughout the healing process.
We follow strict protocols to ensure every dressing change is safe, comfortable, and effective for each patient.
